Flow Feed Configution

FLOW Feed

The FLOW Feed drives an output (relay) for a defined duration of time (minutes) after a specified volume has been reached on a meter input.  A (water) meter input is required to operate the Flow feed.

The FLOW feed measures volume passing through a meter. When the meter reports the target volume has been reached, the Output (relay) will run for the defined "Duration in Minutes". This process repeats each time the target volume is reported by the meter.

To configure a FLOW FEED:

Enable - Slide the Toggle to GREEN, this will enable the output

Description - User provided Name for the output. This will be displayed on the user interface
Input -  From the drop down menu select the meter that the relay will read to drive relay actions
Volume Increment - Enter the volume (typically expressed as Gallons or Liters) that must pass through meter to activate the output
Duration in Minutes - Enter the amount of time (in minutes) the output will run after meeting the Volume Increment
Digital Lockout - From the drop down select digital outputs that will be locked out (not able to run) while the relay you are configuring is running
Analog Lockouts - From the drop down select analog outputs that will be locked out (not able to run) while the relay you are configuring is running
Limits - The Limits option will shut down an output once it has exceeded the permitted run time of the selected FREQUENCY (Hourly or Daily) the LIMIT is expressed as MINUTES.  If a LIMIT is configured as                 Frequency = DAILY and TIME = 250:

In the event the relay runs for 250 minutes between Midnight to Midnight the relay will be shut down for the balance of the current DAY. At midnight the timer will reset and the relay will be able to run up to 250 minutes for the then current day.

High & Low Alarm - These optional alarms measure time. Alarms may be configured for Active (running too long) or Inactive (running for less than expected)
